Self-conception

On the 7th & 8th of July, 2017, the G20 Summit will take place in Hamburg. In opposition to that, broad resistance is forming. Many people will take part in action against the summit. The police will also be present in great numbers to counter the protests. This can lead to injuries and we want to provide support in these situations. We are part of the resistance and do not see ourselves as a service provider. For us, the affected person is our main focus and hence their respective desires and needs, so that we can find the right solution. We understand our role as a part of the anti-repression-structure. It is our aim, where possible, to avoid all structures which are linked to authorities (paramedics, hospitals etc). We categorically exclude any cooperation with police and the justice system. Around the time of the summit, a wide range of protests and marches will take place. Within your structures, consider which forms of action you want to join and make preparations for you safety where necessary. Show solidarity and take care for one another!
